A few month ago we opened a new finance team within Aegon Global Business Solutions Center, focusing on IFRS Reporting. Let us introduce you the first member of this team, Saleh Jawarneh, who joined us as a Senior Financial Analyst. Welcome on board Saleh! 💪

We are thrilled to announce that our volunteering group in Budapest has been awarded the runner-up prize by the Aegon Force for Good Day organizing committee! As a result, we have received a €250 voucher for sharing a team photo that exemplifies our commitment to our values. We are proud to have donated this amount to the "Utcáról Lakásba Egyesület - From Huts to Homes," "Housing Now!," and "Solidarity Housing" organizations. These funds will support their ongoing renovations by purchasing necessary materials. Recently, we participated in the Aegon Force for Good Day in Budapest, where colleagues joined forces to assist families in need who are unable to afford proper housing in the city. Our primary task was to paint an apartment provided by our partner organization, helping a young family with children move in as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this meaningful initiative. Together, we are making a difference in our community. 🌍

🌟Highlights from Business Fest 2024: Insights and inspiration🌟 Part of our HR team had the opportunity to participate in this year’s Business Fest at Millenáris park. Top speakers shared insights on current trends and future tendencies within HR, which was an amazing opportunity for us to gather insight and inspiration which we can implement in our organization and our processes. The event showcased cutting-edge topics and innovative solutions: We explored alternative ways to keep employees healthy as the mandatory medical fitness examinations will cease, we talked about the importance of salary transparency, new ways of employer branding, how to build trust and connection during changes and discussed the importance of AI within HR processes. Did you know AI can significantly streamline payroll processes? Amazing! One session particularly resonated with the team was about onboarding and change management. It was about an IT-driven onboarding process and how they incorporate IT trends to strengthen employee experience. These sessions provided valuable perspectives for ongoing and future HR projects, giving us insights and ideas how can we develop our processes, and stay ahead of market. This event was also an amazing opportunity to connect with industry peers, exchanging ideas and experiences. To ensure the success of this initiative, we partnered with Human Digital Group / Krauthammer Hungary, who provided invaluable support in building this program from the ground up.   Our HR and Actuary teams actively participated, gathering essential insights and receiving comprehensive training on how to deliver encouraging feedback effectively. Meet Ági and start your career with our Procurement team! ✨ We have several open roles in our Procurement team, and we would like to introduce a few of the team members to give you an idea of where you might fit in! First, let's meet Ágnes Kertai, one of our Intermediate Procurement and Vendor Management Analysts! She joined us three years ago, and her journey has taken her through various roles, including an Ariba consultant, she even conducted online training in the Netherlands. With a passion for teaching and helping others, Ági has been instrumental in providing trainings for the vendor management team and ensuring smooth operations in our systems. We asked her to share a few reasons why someone should consider joining: "For me, one of my main motivations is my leader, Eric Verschut, who always pays attention to providing me personalized opportunities and challenges. These guide me in the right direction towards my career goals.
