Local Montreal Partners

We’ve joined creative forces with local artists and businesses to create a true Montreal experience, including Café Olimpico, Montreal-based streetwear brand Le Cartel, Camdi Design and artists Steven Spazuk and Alan Ganev.

Café Olimpico

Founded in 1970, the Café Olimpico is a European-inspired Montreal institution that serves a wonderful selection of coffee, espresso drinks and Italian pastries.

Le Cartel

Le Cartel is a renowned streetwear brand where art meets fashion. Its on-site shop showcases art piece as well as its current fashion collection.

Béïque Legault Thuot Architectes

Established in 1970, Béïque Legault Thuot Architectes (BLTA) is sought after for its creative and conceptual approach as well as the quality and diversity of its services. BLTA offers a wide range of expertise such as high-rise buildings, building envelope, heritage restoration, and sustainable design.

Steven Spazuk

Every Hotel William Gray guest room features bird drawings by Montreal native Steven Spazuk. Spazuk is a master of a technique called fumage, in which he uses the flame of a candle or torch as a pencil to create his paintings with trails of soot. Using various tools, he sculpts the plumes of soot left behind in response to the shapes that appear on the canvas. His art is based on spontaneity and chance, with the live bird as a symbol of freedom and an inspiration for change.

Alan Ganev

Montreal-based visual artist Alan Ganev’s graffiti-splashed murals are the perfect counterpart to the Hotel William Gray’s décor. Alan’s work has been on display at galleries, cultural centers, and museums worldwide, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Costa Rica Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, and the Conseil des Arts de Montréal.

Camdi

The Hotel William Gray was designed by CAMDI, who approach every project in an imaginative and ingenious way to offer an exclusive signature. For our hotel, they brought in a bold and contemporary look that merges beautifully with the existing historical structures, including slate floors, stone walls and rooms and suites adorned with dark wood furniture, soft neutrals and sheer white curtains.
