Meet Lenny! Lenny began his career at Horizon in May of 2013 as a Project Coordinator. Now, 11 years later, he serves as Horizon’s Outpatient Facility Supervisor. In his time with the organization, Lenny has had numerous opportunities to grow within his career. Continue reading to learn more!
What kinds of trainings/ad hoc committees/workgroups have you been a part of that have supported your growth?
I have had opportunities to participate in Manager Summits and Retreats organized by Horizon for team members, which have helped me grow into my role as Outpatient Facility Supervisor. I am also involved in numerous Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Council events such as the annual Pride Parade. These opportunities made available to me have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Can you speak to the mentorship relationships you’ve developed over the years and how these have helped you grow?
There have been so many different leaders and mentors throughout my time at Horizon. I am so grateful that I have gotten to work with many people across the organization who have helped shape and grow both me and my career.
Do you have any goals for further growth within your role at Horizon?
I am excited to currently be involved in Horizon’s Bronze Leadership Program, which is a training program offered to managers at Horizon to help them develop their leadership skills. I also feel very passionate about maintaining and ensuring all our facilities look their best. I am excited to continue to grow throughout my career and am looking forward to remaining at Horizon until my retirement.
What would you say to someone who may be interested in growing in their career with Horizon?
