Trendon Watford signs qualifying offer to remain with Nets
Adrian Wojnarowski: Brooklyn Nets F Trendon Watford has signed his qualifying offer, which will allow him to become an unrestricted free agent next summer, sources tell ESPN.

Sean Marks: Mikal Bridges didn't ask for trade
Many came from the trade of Bridges, who Marks insisted never asked to leave. “It’s been reported that Mikal wanted to leave or requested a trade. That could not be further from the truth,” Marks said. “That’s just not in Mikal’s character. That’s not who he is, and that definitely did not happen. He was told by me when I called him and let him know that we’re at the 2-yard line.” The Nets got the Bridges trade across the goal line.
Michael Scotto: The Cleveland Cavaliers will add Trevor Hendry as an assistant coach to Kenny Atkinson’s staff, league sources told @hoopshype. Hendry was the video coordinator on Atkinson’s staff for three seasons with the Brooklyn Nets before he was later promoted as an assistant coach.
