Graduate Course (6000-plus) Access

All Honors students are eligible to enroll in graduate-level courses, numbered 6000 or higher.

If a student receives a registration error when they attempt to add a graduate-level course through Athena, the academic department of instruction may have placed a restriction on the course. If this happens, the student will need to request permission to register directly from the department or course instructor.

Split-level courses

A student who is registered for the 4000-level section of a split-level course cannot receive graduate credit for the course even if the student completes the graduate-level syllabus. The student must be registered for the 6000-level course to receive graduate credit.
