Senior People and Purpose Manager APAC at Moleskine
We are looking for an APAC Operations Manager, a senior role that involves overseeing of main local operations processes end-to-end.
Main duties and responsibilities are:
warehousing,
sales channels stock allocation
distribution planning
local and international distribution
product quality check
B2B customization
analyzing statistics and reading and writing reports
setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost
overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and 3PL performances
The role includes responsibility on monitoring and analyzing the current way of working to check it is effective, and working out a strategy for improving if necessary.
Reporting directly to headquarter Global Operations Director, the position will manage a team of 6 people located in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
APAC Operations Manager will have a significant level of interactions with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management as well as training and supervising local operations employees and tracking and measuring staff performance.
The position is based in Hong Kong and can require some travels in the APAC area.
Requested skills:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in logistics, economics or engineering holder
Around 10-15 years of experience in FMCG or Luxury companies, in the same role
Multi-tasking, dynamic and proactive result oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) is required for this role
Excellent command of English is mandatory, Mandarin a strong plus SAP knowledge is a strong plus, significant experience with ERP is mandatory
You must be able to see the big picture as well as the finer details, as your work is across the spectrum. You will deal in small daily matters, as well as larger aims and setting goals. A systematic organized approach to work is vital.
Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills, for dealing with many types of people at all levels in a direct diplomatic way, are essential. An understanding of customer/client requirements is also necessary.
Strong leadership skills, including effective time management, prioritizing and delegation, are required. You must be able to lead, coach, inspire, support and motivate your team, and always seeking to improve best practice.
