At the end of last month, Mr. Paul Chan, the Financial Secretary, along with a group of secondary school students, visited Hong Kong Science Park accompanied by Mr. Albert Wong, the CEO of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. They toured several startups engaged in artificial intelligence and robotics technology. We were delighted to participate in this exchange. During the visit, we showcased our robotic dog to the Secretary and the students, introducing its applications in various scenarios such as inspecting power stations, factories, and utility tunnels, as well as assisting in emergency rescue, fire investigation, and future scientific research. The emergence of the robotic dog represents the progress of artificial intelligence technology in practical applications and brings more efficient and safer solutions to various industries. Furthermore, we also demonstrated the construction robot jointly developed with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It can be used on construction sites to assist in bricklaying, wall grinding, plastering, paint absorption, and other processes, improving work efficiency and reducing accident risks. These robotic arms can be precisely and flexibly controlled, highlighting the advantages of robotics technology in real-world applications while also reflecting the tremendous potential of technology in the construction and manufacturing industries. For the students, this exchange was a valuable opportunity to learn and experience technology firsthand, allowing them to personally understand the latest developments in artificial intelligence and robotics, enhance their knowledge and interest in the technology field, and inspire them to continuously explore future innovation and technology development.
