Over 50 students attended our first journalism conference held in partnership with Loyola Marymount University at LMU Playa Vista Campus. Students attended workshops led by professional journalists, competed in media contests and heard from keynote speaker and ABC7 Reporter Jovana Lara.

LMU’s Journalism Department hosted the event in collaboration with L.A. Times High School Insider.

Thank you to the journalists and presenters who volunteered to judge contests, speak at workshops and meet with the next generation of journalists and storytellers.
