Embiid posted 15 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 22 minutes in Team USA's 92-88 exhibition game win over Germany on Monday. Embiid followed up a 2-for-8 performance from the field Wednesday against Serbia with two extremely efficient outings, shooting a combined 10-for-14 across the USA's last two exhibition games. Embiid's ability to move the ball Monday was also impressive as he led the squad in assists. The All-Star has been elite on the boards through five exhibition matchups thus far, averaging 6.8 rebounds per game.

Latest 76ers News
Joel Embiid : Efficient from field in win Monday
Reggie Jackson : Plans to join Philadelphia
Jackson, who agreed to a contract buyout with the Hornets on Tuesday, plans to sign with the 76ers upon clearing waivers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Nuggets picked up Jackson's $5.25 million player option at the end of June but flipped the veteran point guard to Charlotte for salary-dumping purposes. In Philadelphia, Jackson will join Kyle Lowry and Eric Gordon as veteran backcourt options behind Tyrese Maxey.
Jeff Dowtin : Lands two-way deal
Dowtin agreed to a two-way contract with the 76ers on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Dowtin spent the 2023-24 campaign with Philadelphia, but the 76ers declined his $2.2 million team option for the 2024-25 season in late June. He remained with the team for Summer League play and averaged 17.1 points and 5.7 assists, and he'll compete for a role with the organization during camp this fall.
Adem Bona : Inks four-year deal with Philadelphia
Bona agreed to a four-year, $8 million rookie contract with the 76ers, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Bona was drafted with the 41st overall pick in the 2024 draft and has secured a rookie contact after a solid start to the Summer League. The UCLA product has averaged 6.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks in 22.7 minutes per game in the Summer League thus far. It will likely be difficult for Bona to crack the rotation with Andre Drummond already serving as backup to Joel Embiid.
KJ Martin : Signs two-year deal with Philly
Martin signed a two-year, $16 million extension with the 76ers on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Martin will boost the team's bench depth due to his positional versatility. However, he's not expected to be a major factor in most fantasy formats. He averaged just 3.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game across 60 regular-season appearances (two starts) in 2023-24.
Justin Powell : Out for Summer League
Powell won't play in the Las Vegas Summer League due to a left groin strain, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports. Powell has yet to make his NBA debut after spending the 2023-24 campaign in the G League. There is no indication his left groin strain will keep him out for the regular season. He is currently set to enter the 2024-25 season as a free agent.
Kyle Lowry : Agrees to one-year deal with 76ers
Lowry has agreed to return to the 76ers on a one-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The 38-year-old veteran and Philly native will again be helping back up Tyrese Maxey for the 76ers this upcoming season. He may be able to provide some low-end value as an assist specialist in 16-team leagues, but he's well past his days of relevancy in standard, 12-team settings.
Adem Bona : Team-high two blocks in win
Bona tallied seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 24 minutes in Monday's 102-92 win over the Thunder in the Salt Lake City Summer League. Bona was effective on the defensive end in the club's opening game of the Summer League, and he was hitting shots at an efficient rate. The No. 41 overall pick racked up two blocks, and he was known as a solid interior defender with UCLA as he averaged 1.8 blocks per game in two seasons. In his final collegiate season, Bona averaged 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 33 games.
