The Charvel Pro Mod Relic San Dimas Style 1 HH FR PF is a metal-ready machine that comes pre-battered straight out the box. The factory-aged finishing might raise a few eyebrows but you can melt faces with its pair of Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 and 59 SH-1N humbuckers that are primed and ready for both hard riffing and soaring solos.

Elsewhere, there’s an alder body and maple neck, and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking trem for oh-so-tasty divebombs. It also has a no-frills control set up with a three-way switch and a singular volume knob. But honestly, when the tones are this good, why would you need to tweak in?

As you’d expect for a Floyd Rose-toting instrument, it stays in tune no matter what, and is perfect for those unrelenting metal riffs.
