Steven Siro Vai (born June 6, 1960) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He started with Frank Zappa in 1978, joining his band in 1980. Vai's style spans rock, metal, and experimental genres, showcased in albums like "Passion and Warfare" (1990). He's won three Grammys and tours internationally with acts like G3 and Zappa Plays Zappa.
