Hello Open Data Day community,

Congratulations to everyone! 🙌

I want to express the immense happiness we're feeling at the Open Knowledge Foundation, the Open Knowledge Network and our sponsoring partners. Together we have once again held a huge decentralised celebration of open data! We've put together a quick report with the main figures and statistics - this year, there were almost 300 events in 60 countries, using 15+ languages. Check out more data and details here.

Our community is growing (this year alone 176 people have joined this google group). To seize the momentum and strengthen collaboration between us, next week OKFN will be holding debrief meetings to get together, share this year's experiences and start planning for 2025.
