Mini-Grants Open Call - Open Data Day 2024

Hello everyone,

Here I am again with the latest news from Open Data Day 2024. Since my last email, things have moved pretty quickly and we've just opened the call for applications to get mini-grants to help fund activities across the world.

As you can see, this year we have a diverse pool of grant sponsors - please join OKFN in thanking Jokkolabs Banjul (Gambia), Open Knowledge Germany, Datopian and Link Digital. And a special thanks to a new partner, Humanitarian OpenStreetMap, which is funding a specific stream focused on open mapping activities.

The call is open until 5 February.

Please get in touch with me or with the Open Knowledge team at opend...@okfn.org if you have any questions. We are looking forward to receiving your proposals!

Last but not least, a quick reminder event registration is open on the ODD website (and that all mini-grant applicants must have an event registered). So let's start putting it in (here's a great guide produced last year by dear Nikesh).

Hallo Lucas,

First, let me introduce myself, my name is Fikri Irvan. I am the president of UPI Youthmapper, Indonesia.

I want to ask about the closing deadline for submission mini Grants Mapping. What time does it close? and then if the form is limited to 250 characters. Where can I explain in more detail about the event we are planning? Was it during the phase 1 announcement?

Hopefully we can have opportunity for this year's mini-grant mapping. Because this is our first time registering.
