Hundreds of people gathered in and outside the school’s Morningside Heights campus as classes went remote under the administration’s orders.

The zone will now run from 6th to 8th avenues and from 41st to 57th streets.

Some 158,000 people participated in the protests, authorities said Friday.

Many students say they’re masking up at protests — or using keffiyehs to conceal their faces — out of fear of online harassment for publicly supporting Palestinians since the Oct. 7 attacks.

The participants drew attention to Adams administration policies limiting how long asylum-seekers can stay in city shelters. “The mayor has several houses," one said.

The NYPD, city and state leaders maintain there are no specific, credible threats in New York or New Jersey.
