Here are 11 notable players who missed the cut at the 2024 John Deere Classic

Another birdie-barrage has broken out in Silvis, Illinois, at the 2024 John Deere Classic, where C.T. Pan and Aaron Rai are tied for the lead at 14 under. Pan and Rai have matched each other so far through two days, shooting 6-under 65s on Thursday and 8-under 63s on Friday. Rai, an Englishman, tied for second at last week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic and is once again in the mix looking for his first PGA Tour win.

Harry Hall followed up his first-round 63 with a 6-under 65 and is alone in third at 13 under, one back. Six players are tied for fourth at 12 under, two back, while eight players are tied for 10th at 11 under, three back.

The 36-hole cut at the John Deere came in at 5-under 137, with 77 players making it to the weekend.

Here are 11 notable names who are leaving the Quad Cities a few days early.

John Deere Classic: Leaderboard

Daniel Berger (4 under)

Berger has three missed cuts in his last four starts.

Nick Dunlap (3 under)

Dunlap was one of the betting favorites this week after a T-10 finish in Detroit, but he didn’t have his best stuff.

Matt Kuchar (3 under)

While playing through a bit of an injury, Kuchar tied for 25th in Detroit last week. However, he’ll head home a few days early.

Harry Higgs (3 under)

In his first PGA Tour start since the U.S. Open, Higgs misses the weekend.

Cameron Champ (3 under)

This season continues to be a grind for Champ, as this is his 12th missed cut in 15 starts.

Kevin Kisner (2 under)

Kisner’s week started with a solid 3-under 68, but he stumbled home on Friday with a 1-over 72. He’s now missed 12 cuts in 15 starts.

Brandt Snedeker (Even)

Sneds opened with a 4-under 67 on Thursday, but struggled with his game on Day 2, signing for a 4-over 75.

Maverick McNealy (Even)

Since a tie for seventh in Canada, McNealy has finished T-44 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic and missed the cut at the John Deere Classic.

Wesley Bryan (1 over)

After a decent week in Detroit that ended with a 5-over final round, Bryan couldn’t better his Thursday 2-under 69 and will miss his sixth cut in eight starts this season.

Peter Malnati (1 over)

Malnati has struggled of late, finishing 74th at the Rocket Mortgage, 70th at the Travelers Championship and missing the cut at the U.S. Open.

Davis Riley (5 over)

Since winning the Charles Schwab Challenge in May, Riley has missed two cuts in four starts with his best finish being a T-48 effort at the Travelers Championship.
