Tortilla Flats Miracle Crash

On May 20, 2024, me and my best friend were involved a serious car accident, that no one should have survived. Our car plummeted 300 feet to the bottom of a canyon near Tortilla Flats. By the grace of God and our guardian angels( and the absolutely amazing first responders) we walked away with minor injuries. I never believed in miracles until that night, and everyone saying how absolutely blessed we are to still be here. I spent a couple days in the hospital, with a broken collarbone, shoulder blade, and torn ligament in my knee. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude towards Subaru, for building a car that saved our lives. The road to recovery won’t be easy, but we are in high spirits and good health, and appreciate all the continued support from friends and family!
