When you leave prison in Louisiana, no matter how long you have served, you are given $10 and a bus ticket. The First 72+ provides housing and financial assistance to residents until they are able to secure employment. With your help we are able to buy food, clothes, pay utilities and provide transportation.

We envision a world where prior incarceration is not a barrier to secure housing, employment, and community engagement & acceptance.
