Sierra participated in the Project Search Program through Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley. Project Search is a program for persons who have disabilities and are getting ready to graduate from High School and are preparing to enter the work force. Goodwill provides the job coaching and training for Project Search and helps individuals transition from High School to Employment. Sierra had a passion to work in the health care field. Her father, who passed away, was nurse and she so much wanted to carry on the legacy of helping others. As we celebrate Developmental Disabilities month, we want you to meet Rhonda. Rhonda participates in the Adult Day Support Program at Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley. Rhonda likes attending the program so that she can visit with her friends and participant in community events. Watch her story and find out why she attends the program in Piqua, Ohio.
Adult Day Support is a day program for individuals with developmental disabilities that promotes personal growth through a variety of community activities and interactions. The individualized programs are initially built by completing person-centered planning with individuals and their teams to determine what is important to and for the individual.
Our Radio Reading Service broadcasts readings of local and regional newspapers, magazines, books and other printed information to people with visual disabilities and other physical or mental impairments. Through this free service you can stay connected to your community despite a disability.

Henry was homeless and just wanted a safe place to belong. As an adult, he lived with individuals who would regularly abuse him. He was isolated and felt hopeless until he found the Miracle Clubhouse, a program at Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley.
Thanks to this program Henry now lives a life independence.
