Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

The Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council serves as a clearinghouse for criminal justice information and research, develops legislative and executive policy proposals on criminal justice issues, and advises the governor.

The council also administers the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program (CVCP), which offers financial support to innocent victims of violent crimes and encourages greater victim participation in the criminal justice process.
