Genius Annotation
Born To Die, alternatively known as “Too Legit To Quit”, is a cover of American singer/songwriter, Lana Del Rey’s song “Born To Die”. The title “Too Legit To Quit” is a reference to a line from the movie Hot Rod.
The song was first released as the eleventh track of the special edition of Chasing Ghosts, where Joel Birch sang “you like your girls insane”, like the original song. Over a year after the album’s release, the band released a remastered “radio mix” of the track, where Joel sang “you like your boys insane” instead, as transcribed here.
