Georgia River Network is hosting a Save the Swamp Mardi Gras Benefit Party to get you fired up about protecting the Okefenokee! 

Come out to support the cause and enjoy live music by Michelle Malone, a low-country boil and refreshments while communing with fellow advocates around a huge Christmas tree bonfire. If you’re lucky, you just might find the baby in the King Cake and be crowned King or Queen of Mardi Gras!

What is the dress code for the event?

Dress casually for our backyard bonfire party! Boots are a bonus, plus chairs for the bonfire. We’ll have some masks and beads, and would love to see your swamp style!

Where is the event?

The Mardi Gras party is at a private residence/farm: Conklin Farm, 4630 High Point Rd, Atlanta. 

How do I get to the event?

Conklin Farm is off Windsor Parkway near Roswell Rd.

When should I arrive?

The event kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with dinner and music starting at 5:30 p.m.

Where is parking?

Parking is limited – please use Uber or Lyft. 

Do I need to bring my ticket?

No, please state your name at the welcome check-in table. 

How do I participate in the raffle?

You can purchase raffle tickets online or at the event. The drawing will take place at 7:15 p.m. during the event, but you need not be present to win! You can buy tickets early here.

This year’s Mardi Gras party will feature musician Michelle Malone and a special performance of “Okefenokee”, co written by Michelle Malone, Rena Ann Peck and Jim Woodcox.
