2020 Accomplishments

• Co-founded the Okefenokee Protection Alliance to protect the Okefenokee Swamp from mining
• Advocated to keep our rivers clean with the Georgia Water Coalition as its non-profit and fiscal agent. 
• Served as our state’s Georgia Water Trails Program which creates water trails for community access to rivers and boosting rural economic development.
• Bridged the outdoor adventure gap for people of color teaming with Outdoor Afro.
• Partnered with  the Minority Outdoor Alliance to create equitable solutions that push to make the outdoors for everyone.
• Lead the Georgia Outdoor Recreation Coalition’s initiative to establish a state Office of Outdoor Recreation.
• Connected thousands of people to rivers on our educational paddling trips to enjoy, protect and steward our waterways
• Held river cleanups partnering with our donors and Terrapin Beer.
