Reminder: Updated SAIG Enrollment Agreement and SAIG Software Required to Receive 2024–25 ISIRs (Updated Dec. 15, 2023)

Note

Dec. 15, 2023 Reminder: Approximately 30% of eligible organizations still need to sign and submit the updated SAIG enrollment agreement in order to receive 2024–25 ISIRs. We encourage these organizations to complete the activities described in the Sept. 22, 2023 Electronic Announcement as soon as possible. In addition, updated SAIG software must be installed. See below for more information.

As a reminder, partners must sign an updated Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) enrollment agreement and install updated SAIG software to receive Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) for the 2024–25 award year and beyond. We appreciate the work of SAIG users who have already completed both steps in this process.

For users that still need to complete these important activities, please refer to the sections below.

Sign and Submit an Updated SAIG Enrollment Agreement

During the week of Oct. 22, 2023, we sent an email to all Destination Point Administrators (DPAs) who currently manage the ISIR service at their organization (i.e., the owner of the SAIG mailbox that receives ISIRs). The email came from CPSSAIG@ed.gov and included a new FT number to identify the organization’s newly assigned FTI-SAIG mailbox. DPAs must follow the step-by-step instructions included in the email to access and sign the updated SAIG enrollment agreement on the SAIG Enrollment website.

For additional information about submitting the signed SAIG enrollment agreement, refer to the Sept. 22, 2023 Electronic Announcement.

Training resources to assist with this process, including a video tutorial, are available on the FSA Training Center. After logging in to the FSA Training Center with your username and password, choose “Systems Training” from the top menu bar, and select “SAIG Training” from the drop-down menu.

Install Updated SAIG Software

In addition, updated SAIG software must be installed to receive 2024–25 ISIRs in the new FTI-SAIG mailbox.

New versions of EDconnect and TDClient are now available on the Software and Other Tools page of the Knowledge Center website, along with an accompanying user guide with installation instructions. We have also provided updated user documentation for use with the new FTI-TDCommunity Manager (FTI-TDCM).

Important information for software users can be found in the Nov. 8, 2023 Electronic
Announcement
. EDconnect users should also refer to the Dec. 4, 2023 Electronic
Announcement
prior to installing the software.
