Probably you can. There are tons of guided tours from any of the larger tourist spots. However, I’d recommend you hire a car and drive there yourself. Roads are good, and you have much more freedom then.

Bus 311 does not go to the top of the peak but goes past the turn off for the peak. It stops at a small bar/restaurant with a bodiga behind. If you walk anti-clockwise round the crater the walk comes out about half way up the road to the peak.

Yes, there is definitely one in front of the café/bar on the main road and also I am fairly sure that you can park at the golf club just round the back of the village on the edge of the caldera. Alternatively, use the excellent bus service which stops by the path leading to the caldera.

Yes, the 311 starts from bus stop Plaza de las Ranas located in the old town, close to the Mercado de Vegueta. It finishes in Bandama bus stop and then you have to climb up the Bandama Peak (c.a. 30 minutes). The Caldera is visible along this way.

The starting point is the path leading down beside the café bar on the roadside. This takes you to a gate (the site is closed at night). There is then the choice of walking clockwise or anticlockwise from there round the rim of the old volcano (caldera) or down into the centre where there is a small farmstead in the bottom. The easiest path is to go to the right (anticlockwise); first you come to a view point. Then there are steps and steepish climbs up and down around the rim. Nothing is too difficult - I managed it as an unfit 69 year old! but allow two hours if you are slow, one hour if you are young and fit. Almost opposite the beginning of the walk, the rim is broader and you'll find many agaves, under which live some enormous lizards. They are fun to watch and not at all dangerous, though some are a good meter long.
