🎊 Congratulations to Alain Favre-Réguillon Laurent vanoye Regis Philippe Claude de Bellefon from the Flowchem & Process Intensification Platform of the CP2M (Catalysis, Polymerisation, Processes and Materials) lab in CPE Lyon for their successful work. Their recent paper highlights the carbonyl reductions using NaBH4, a high-yield and highly selective process regularly used in organic synthesis and the pharmaceutical industry. This chemical process typically involves a long reaction time at a controlled temperature in batch reactors, which can be costly and energy intensive on a large scale. By using Corning Low-Flow Reactor and stabilizers, the team was able to showcase that the reaction time can be significantly reduced without the need for cooling the reaction mixture making the process faster and intensified, compared to traditional batch processing. 👉 Learn more about their work: https://lnkd.in/dbBZuyEs     #flowchemistry #synthesis
