Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all operational aspects of the French manufacturing plant.
Manage and direct a plant of 100+ employees, promoting a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and safety.
Ensure the plant meets production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Optimize production processes and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Develop strong relationships with local suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth supply chain and timely procurement of materials.
Collaborate closely with global headquarters to align the plant operations with overall corporate strategies and updates.
Prepare and manage the plant’s budget, focusing on cost-effective operations without compromising on quality.
Tackle operational challenges by working closely with technical experts and industry consultants.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
At least 7 years of experience in plant management or a leadership role within the metal manufacturing or automotive production sectors.
Proven ability to lead production targets to success, manage high-performing teams, and optimize manufacturing processes.
Experience in negotiating and working collaboratively with unions to maintain harmonious labor relations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in modern manufacturing technologies and lean manufacturing principles.
Deep understanding of the automotive industry and its production standards and regulations in Europe.
