Health & Safety Manager

Allen & York are working with an international organisation who work with premium clients across the globe operating in over 25 countries on projects to design, project manage and construct. This opportunity, based in Paris, is for an experienced Health & Safety Manager who is fluent in both French and English.

The role will be to work with project teams in the Paris region to provide support and advice to ensure safety standards are met at all times. This represents a great opportunity to contribute towards the safe and successful delivery of key projects in the Paris region, representing the client from project development, through construction to completion.

Responsibilities will include active involvement in risk control measures ensuring they are implemented, assessed, and monitored as well as attending key meetings to monitor progress, raise issues, and actively collaborate on solving problems. The role will implement the safety strategy and procedures for the project, engaging all partners to actively support across all areas as well as lead the maintenance of health and safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001).

Candidates should have experience working in construction, ideally to include interiors or refurbishment and have a strong track record of delivery on projects working to high standards. Candidates should be well qualified in safety ideally to CertIOSH or equivalent, be based in Paris or willing and eligible to relocate with fluency in French and English languages.
