À propos

Founded by Jérémy Schneider and Violaine Orsoni. V&J is a multidisciplinary creative studio focusing on graphic design, typography, illustration and more globally arts & crafts dedicated to deliver beautiful messages. We believe in beauty, refinement, delicacy and timelessness. We took the habit of drawing custom fonts for the projects we work on. We design fonts like we would design everything else: with our own artistic gesture and sensibility.

Within the legendary Croisette palace, Hotel Martinez we designed La Plage identity. We worked on artistic direction, logotypes, menu designs, hand drawn illustrations and letterings. We structured the menu like a movie poster, with the dishes replacing the cast. The illustration shows the iconic Boulevard de la Croisette from the hotel. All illustrations and lettering were hand-drawn by the studio. We designed several secondary logos in the style of 7th art production logos. The private beach of the Martinez hotel is indeed a popular address for the international elite. Designed by the architect Remy Tessier, this beach is a hymn to the Roaring Twenties and the Mediterranean. Everything is designed to offer an exclusive experience, with the culinary inventiveness of Chef Jean Imbert Le Martinez share a strong historic link with the Cannes Film Festival, one of the most prestigious and widely recognized film festivals in the world. Situated on the Boulevard de la Croisette, the hotel offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and easy access to the beach and central Cannes. During the Cannes Film Festival, Hôtel Martinez becomes a central hub of activity. It hosts many film industry professionals, celebrities, and media representatives Studio photographies by Daniel Forero Lifestyle photographies by Bobby Allin Thanks to Liana Korios and Coline Vignaud Printing by Imprimerie du Marais , Atelier Bulk and Gibert Clarey

New Identity for Polène Paris https://lnkd.in/etZSMju3 Polène's team had the project to upscale the brand image on the occasion of the release of its first jewelry and accessories range. We designed the new brand identity aiming to give it a more mature, elegant and refined feel. We redesigned all the elements of the brand's identity. The design work has begun with drawing the new logo: an all cap custom lettering, looking sharp, confident and graceful. We completed the work with the design of a monogram, with which we created the brand's official pattern. Selecting secondary typefaces and putting together a new color palette was also part of the mission. #identity #polene #logotype #branding #violaineetjeremy #monogram #graphicdesign #poleneparis #typography

Marlon Brando first spotted Tetiaroa while hiking in Tahiti while filming Mutiny on the Bounty in the early 1960s. It was here that he found a place of indescribable beauty and Polynesian authenticity. https://lnkd.in/ew-FG2Bu The Tetiaroa Atoll is a place unlike any other. Built by volcanoes and preserved by coral, this is where nature, Polynesian people, and their culture come together to seamlessly coexist with a world-class resort, The Brando. Long before The Brando existed, there was Bob’s Bar. It all started here, on this very beach, where Marlon Brando would come at the end of each day and ask his friend Bob to create a cocktail for him. We created the menu in the form of Marlon's travel diary from Tetiaroa. Thanks to historical research and the archives at our disposal, this notebook tells the story of Marlon's encounter with the island, with many anecdotes scattered throughout its pages. We paid particular attention to its manufacture: to ensure that the notebook is a perfectly authentic object, only 30 copies were produced, all its production was carried out by hand. The leather cover, the medals, the photos, the postage stamps, the stamps: all the elements have been assembled by hand, one by one. The photos are held in place by photo corners, the 20 stamps were stamped with different colors of ink, and the leather cover was crafted by a specialized craftswoman who also applied the medal. The printer was an important partner in this project, big thank you to the team at L'imprimerie du Marais. New experiences await as creative French chef Jean Imbert brings his signature style, marrying the flavors of Polynesia with the classic techniques of France.
