Paris shines brightly with #RenewableEnergy ! At Sweetch Energy, we are thrilled to share our enthusiasm for the #Paris2024 Olympic Games, and particularly for the remarkable technological innovation of the #OlympicCauldron designed by Mathieu Lehanneur and crafted by our partner EDF! A few months ago, we collaborated with Axel Morales – designer at @EDFPulseDesign and key contributor to this project – to imagine our future osmotic power plants to be deployed in world’s deltas https://t.ly/rKH37. We appreciated his passion and creativity and are now proud to see the impact of his work illuminate the #ParisOlympics. Our future stations are not meant to soar like the chauldron, but they will surely help keep the flame of #OsmoticEnergy alive! The creation of the #fossilfree flame is an inspiring example of what French innovation, creativity and expertise can achieve to move towards a more sustainable future. Congratulations to Axel, our partner EDF, and all the teams involved. #SweetchEnergy #OlympicFlame #Olympics2024

Sharing our recent feature in the EIC Scaling Club series, including an insightful interview with our CEO, Nicolas Heuzé. At Sweetch Energy, we are pioneering the future of #RenewableEnergy with our innovative osmotic power technology, with the potential to cover up to 15% of global electricity needs. This breakthrough represents a significant step forward in the #EnergyTransition, offering a quiet, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional renewables. Having secured €40 million from esteemed French and European investors, we are now seeking €150-200 million to further advance our technology and maintain our leadership in #OsmoticEnergy. Learn more about our vision and Nicolas's insights in the full interview – link below. #EICScalingClub #EIC #RenewableEnergies #SweetchEnergy #EnergyTransition #CleanTech #Innovation #GreenEnergy #SustainableTechnology https://lnkd.in/dyhbVqTC
Get to know EIC Scaling Club members! Sweetch Energy is a deep-tech venture developing a new renewable energy source with osmotic power. And they're members of our Renewable Energies group. This French startup has developed an innovative membrane for harnessing the difference in salinity between fresh river water and seawater. This is a zero-emission system with no noise, smoke, or smell and a modular design that is easier for society to accept than, for example, wind farms. According to Sweetch Energy’s co-founder and CEO Nicolas Heuzé, "15% of global electricity needs could be covered with osmotic power, making it a major pillar of the energy transition." The company has secured €40 million from French and European VCs, and is looking for €150-200 million in the next three years to advance their groundbreaking technology and stay ahead of the competition.
