Another SERAPID Quick Seat Exchange success story! This reconfigurable theater located at Trinity College South Australia allows for a transformation in under 15 minutes, from theater stage to orchestra hall. “The platform provided features six SERAPID actuators and allows the operator to create a thrust stage level with the fixed raised stage, an auditorium level with roll-on and roll-off seating risers, an orchestra pit level below the auditorium floor to create an orchestra pit, and a lower level to that facilitates the storage of the seating wagons.”

SERAPID One Headquarters welcomed a visit from Stannah Group and LECS (UK) Ltd in Dieppe / France. Stannah installs, services and repairs lift products for commercial and public access buildings in the UK and is working closely together with Network Rail. Head of Infrastructure David Saunders and CEO Archie Hungwe gave an appreciated perspective on the new Rigid Chain Technology lifts. LECS is a leading independent engineering consultant specializing in lifts, escalators, cable cars and most forms of mechanical handling equipment. EurIng Prof Dave Cooper MBE consulted as well, with focus on lift applications, up-side-down installation and CO2 Footprint advantages with Rigid Chain Technology. The new development is part of a new product line of lifts that has been specially designed for the public sector to enable people with reduced mobility to access all areas (Access for all / AFA-concept). Thanks to RCT's robust design, it blends into the harsh environment of railway stations and can withstand the specific requirements of public spaces. The 20th annual Schwelmer Symposium took place on June 17 & 18, 2024 in Schwelm, DE. Among the numerous speakers on modern lift technology was Klingner Olaf, Sales Manager at SERAPID Lift Systems, who spoke about new approaches of the Rigid Chain Technology for innovative solutions in the passenger lift segment. Following his presentation, Dennis Lindeboom, International Account Manager with iLiftinstituut, proudly presented Klaus Wuerkner, Managing Director of SERAPID Deutschland GmbH, the successfully passed certificate for the type examination of the Dual Lift Drive System (DLDS). The DLDS forms the core of SERAPID's new innovative passenger lift solution in the low-rise segment. SERAPID recognized the many years of cooperation with Liftinstituut, whose expertise, recognition and market experience have proved to be invaluable. Their role as standardization and certification experts ensures the international acceptance and reputation required for the future of sustainable, robust and reliable lift solutions. SERAPID will continue to drive the lift industry forward and set new standards for innovation, sustainability and safety. _____________________________________________________   Zum 20. Ihre Rolle als Normungs- und Zertifizierungsexperten gewährleistet die internationale Akzeptanz und Reputation, die für die Zukunft nachhaltiger, robuster und zuverlässiger Aufzugslösungen Voraussetzung sind. Just in time for summer! This custom pool / jacuzzi offers multiple configurations, with the whirlpool being able to hide under the stone as well as a swimming pool which can be covered to created an outdoor room for the seasons. You can see 2 SERAPID RollBeam units being used to move the stone cover, then the jacuzzi is lifted from below to the surface for use.
