The RATPgroup Foundation is launching a new partnership for the social integration of youth in Egypt! 🌍🤝 The RATP Group Foundation and Samusocial International have officially signed a sponsorship agreement to launch the “Opening horizons for the socio-professional integration of homeless youth in Egypt” project. Since 2008, Samusocial International has been fighting exclusion and supporting young people on the streets in Cairo. This new initiative aims to empower 120 vulnerable young people, aged 15 to 24, through essential education and life skills training, preparing them for autonomy and professional integration. RATP Dev Mobility Cairo is proud to contribute to this impactful project. Our subsidiary’s support includes company tours, job presentations, internships, employee mentoring and mobility assistance, all aimed at boosting the employability of these disadvantaged young people. This year’s sixth edition was no exception, showcasing groundbreaking contributions from around the world. We received a record number of applications from RATP Dev employees worldwide, demonstrating our growing commitment to innovation. 🌟 The six categories this year were: Human Resources & Quality of Life, Accessibility & Regions, Environment, Safety, Technical & Operational Excellence and Customer Service, completed with a Jury Award and a People’s Choice Award. Our aim with Innov&GO is to promote field-tested innovations and enhance performance by sharing best practices among our networks, to the benefit of our customers. 🚊 We're creating more sustainable cities with public transport! 🌱 Rui Silva, General Manager of PTC, our joint venture in Riyadh with our partner سابتكو | SAPTCO, took the spotlight at the UITP MENA conference today in Salalah, Oman. During the session “Driving Urban Sustainability Through Public Transport in MENA,” he provided inspiring and impactful insights on green mobility projects in the region. The Middle East and North Africa region is rapidly evolving, emphasizing the critical need for sustainable mobility projects. Public transport is essential for combating climate change, with metros, tramways, low-emission buses and autonomous vehicles all playing a significant role in the environmental transition. Rui shared RATP Dev success stories from cities like Casablanca, Riyadh, Cairo and Doha. For example, in Casablanca our subsidiary recycles water for tramway cleaning and uses energy-efficient LEDs. In Riyadh our teams measure water and electricity consumption and are exploring the potential of solar panels and waste recycling.  Our extensive experience in the MENA region with tram, metro and bus networks is actively progressing a sustainable transformation. Big news for sustainable mobility! 🌟 We’re excited to share significant updates to the IziLo Mobilités public transport network in Lorient, France.     Following the renewal in January of our contract with the Lorient conurbation for 8 more years, our subsidiary RD Lorient Agglomération, IziLo Mobilités recently launched a 100% electric shuttle service “Ma navette, mon centre-ville.” This service is free for Lorient's parking facilities users. 🚐   With a 35-passenger capacity, extended battery range and rapid charging capabilities, this shuttle exemplifies our dedication to decarbonized transport. 🔋    We also introduced 620 electric-assist bicycles for short and long-term rentals to promote daily cycling among Lorient residents. 🚴♂️    RD Lorient Agglomération is replacing the diesel bus fleet with BioGNV (80%) and hydrogen-powered vehicles (20%). Two new minibuses are already serving Groix Island, and there are 16 BioGNV buses in operation, with eight more on the way. 🚌 IziLo's goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 78%. 🌱 Here’s to a greener, more efficient future for public transport in Lorient!     #SustainableTransport #GreenTransport #RATPDev #PublicTransport

We’re excited to have won the contract to operate the QUB multimodal transport network in Quimper, France! 🎉    Quimper Bretagne Occidentale / Ville de Quimper has chosen RATP Dev to manage the QUB network for the next 6 years, starting November 1. Serving over 100,000 residents across 14 communes, this network features 20 bus lines, an electric city center shuttle, 34 school routes, on-demand transport, services for people with reduced mobility and a bike rental service.    Here’s what Quimper residents can look forward to:  🗺️ Simplified routes to more destinations  ⚖️ Balanced service across all Quimper Bretagne Occidentale communes  ⏱️ On-demand transport with 30-minute advance reservations  📅 Sunday service throughout the agglomeration  🚉 A new line connecting the train station to urban stops with extended hours for late TGV arrivals  🚲 An expanded fleet of electric bikes, including cargo bikes, foldable bikes, and accessible bikes    But that’s not all!
