#PAW2024 - Connecting the world of arbitration - March 18 to March 22, 2024
À propos
Paris has traditionally been and remains one of the preferred seats of international arbitration proceedings by parties, arbitrators and counsels alike. This is also evidenced by the large community of international arbitration practitioners based in Paris. This success has naturally been closely linked to the presence of another co-organiser of PAW, the International Chamber of Commerce, in Paris. Finally, the historical and ongoing rich academic debate on various issues of international law and international arbitration in Paris of which the third and final co-organiser of PAW, Comité Français de l’Arbitrage, is an active participant and representative, continues to contribute to the popularity of Paris. We do not mention naturally the beauty of Paris nor the exceptional dining and entertainment options to invite all to join us in attending the next edition of the Paris Arbitration Week.

[#WelcomeOnBoard 🤝] Let us introduce you to🥁… Alexandre Vagenheim ! Paris Arbitration Week is excited to introduce Alexandre, who joined the #PAW Board on 27 June! Alexandre is VP Global Data in Jus Mundi in Paris. To get to know the new members of our Board better, we suggest that you take a look at our 3 questions, which they agreed to answer. Have a good read! 🤓 👇 💬 How would you describe yourself in a sentence ? 🗣 A lawyer at heart with a passion for arbitration and an environmental advocate, turned legal tech entrepreneur, avid dancer, hiker, scuba diver, and cultural explorer. 💬 What makes the PAW most special in your eyes ? 🗣 PAW's uniqueness lies in its unwavering commitment to values, excellence, and community. It prioritizes diversity and sustainability while offering enriching academic discussions and practical insights. The vibrant social events, including sports, cruises, dancing, and karaoke, create a sense of unparalleled connection within and around the arbitration world. 💬 Paris is a city of many lights, which is your favorite? 🗣 My favorite sight in Paris is the Eiffel Tower at night. There's something magical about the hourly light show when it sparkles with thousands of lights, capturing the essence of the city's charm and beauty. 👉 Stay tuned for more #PAW news! _______________________ Benjamin Siino - Diamana Diawara - Claire Pauly - Vanessa Thieffry - Alexandra van der Meulen - Elsa Paparemborde - Catherine Schroeder-Paillard - Astrid Westphalen - Niels Aujouannet-Kelner - Anastasia Davis Bondarenko - Alexandre Vagenheim

[#WelcomeOnBoard 🤝] Let us introduce you to🥁… Anastasia Davis Bondarenko ! Paris Arbitration Week is excited to introduce Anastasia, who joined the #PAW Board on 27 June! Anastasia is Senior Vice President - Fortress Investment Group in Paris. To get to know the new members of our Board better, we suggest that you take a look at our 3 questions, which they agreed to answer. Have a good read! 🤓 💬 How would you describe yourself in a sentence ? 🗣 A truly international lawyer by conviction and beliefs, upbringing and education, interests and professional experience. 💬 What makes the PAW most special in your eyes ? 🗣 PAW’s ability to (1) bring together and unite our vibrant dynamic international arbitration community and (2) create an environment which furthers the development of international arbitration and, more generally, dispute resolution, through high caliber academic debates and exchanges in an exceptional setting, makes PAW truly extraordinary! 💬 Paris is a city of many lights, which is your favorite? 🗣 So many to choose from, but if I had to choose one, then: the lights of Parisian café terraces at night. 👉 Stay tuned for more #PAW news! _______________________ Benjamin Siino - Diamana Diawara - Claire Pauly - Vanessa Thieffry - Alexandra van der Meulen - Elsa Paparemborde - Catherine Schroeder-Paillard - Astrid Westphalen - Niels Aujouannet-Kelner - Anastasia Davis Bondarenko - Alexandre Vagenheim

[#WelcomeOnBoard 🤝] Let us introduce you to 🥁... Niels Aujouannet-Kelner ! Paris Arbitration Week is excited to introduce Niels, who joined the #PAW Board on 27 June! Niels is associate in the Arbitration Team of White & Case LLP Paris . To get to know the new members of our Board better, we suggest that you take a look at our 3 questions, which they agreed to answer. Have a good read! 🤓 👇 💬 How would you describe yourself in a sentence ? 🗣 ... In a sentence? I’m an arbitration nerd, a huge sport fan, a loving dad, who also spends time travelling, enjoying the city, playing videos games or reading history books when time allows (spoiler: time rarely allows – so I listen to podcast on my way to work to make up for it). I admit the sentence could be shorter, but at least the description is accurate ! 💬 What makes the PAW most special in your eyes ? 🗣 ... First and foremost, the PAW is special because it takes place in my city. As a Parisian, I’m amazed to see that thousands of arbitration practitioners come to Paris every year for this event. Over the years, the PAW has become THE go-to arbitration event globally, and we should all be proud of it. More specifically, the newly established relationships between the PAW and the Ministry of Justice and the Paris Court of Appeal show how important the PAW has become. I can’t wait to be working on this front too with the PAW Board to make the most of these relationships and, why not, develop others? To me, this is a great way for the PAW to keep its leadership position. 💬 Paris is a city of many lights, which is your favorite? 🗣 ... I’d say the light of the sun setting over the city, viewed from Montmartre? It may sound cliché but I live near by and I’m telling you: it’s priceless. Come and try it at #PAW2025, or whenever you’re in town ! 👉 Stay tuned for more #PAW news! _______________________ Benjamin Siino - Diamana Diawara - Claire Pauly - Vanessa Thieffry - Alexandra van der Meulen - Elsa Paparemborde - Catherine Schroeder-Paillard - Astrid Westphalen - Niels Aujouannet-Kelner - Anastasia Davis Bondarenko - Alexandre Vagenheim
