I am the cultural event kicking off the cultural season in Geneva. I was founded in 1973, and am run by Claude ratzé since 2017. What am I…? 🙈   La Bâtie-Festival de Geneve, of course! Next August 29th, their 48th edition will open with a new organizational tool: the entire festival is now scheduled in #DIESE. This includes: 🎪 Complete event planning, as well as technical activities, rehearsals and all space occupations, 🚕 Reception management for external teams: accommodation, travel, tour plans, 📲 Staff scheduling for all additional personnel – technicians and volunteers for public reception, (Indeed, like in many festivals the team grows from nearly 20 to over 100 members for a few weeks!)   La Bâtie’s program is dense and exciting, offering a multi-disciplinary mix of theatre, dance, circus, music, DJ sets, and more! 🎉 2024 figures are excting too: -           36 performing venues in the Great Geneva region, -           More than 100 performances, -           50 events, including near 10 co-productions,   Many thanks to the La Bâtie team for a very smoothly run project, ready for the summer as planned, and for their warm welcome 🤗 - Je suis l’évènement qui lance la saison culturelle genevoise. J’existe depuis 1973, et suis dirigé depuis 2017 par Claude Ratzé. Je suis… ? 🙈   La Bâtie-Festival de Geneve, bien sûr ! Le 29 août, la 48ème édition s’ouvrira avec une nouveauté bien cachée : c’est dans #DIESE que tout le festival est désormais planifié. On entend par là : 🎪 Le planning complet des évènements, mais aussi des activités techniques, des répétitions, des occupations de lieux ; 🚕 La gestion des accueils des équipes extérieures : hébergement, voyages, feuille de route ; 📲 La planification de tout le personnel supplémentaire, techniciens mais aussi bénévoles pour l’accueil du public ; (D’une vingtaine de membres, l’équipe passe en effet à plus d’une centaine à l’approche du festival !)   Le programme de La Bâtie est intense, réjouissant, et tout à fait pluridisciplinaire : le théâtre côtoie la danse, la musique, le cirque et autres performances et soirées festives🎉. LE CONCERT D ASTREE is already a quarter of century old! The prestigious baroque ensemble, created in 2000 by director Emmanuelle Haïm, has been in residence at the Opéra de Lille since 2004. Every season, the orchestra and chorus perform on world-class stages 👑. This summer, they will present "Iphigénie en Aulide" and "Iphigénie en Tauride" at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence. The ensemble has recently advanced its digital processes by implementing #DIESE to: 🛫 Manage their complete schedule, including rehearsals and tours 🎶 Store their repertoire, with a catalog of works and their instrumentation 🎯 Recruit artists from their pool for each project 👨👩👧👦 Administer contact details of their artists and staff The project was initiated and managed hand-in-hand by the production team and orchestra librairian. At IT4Culture we were happy to work again with users we knew as they used #DIESE in other organizations! * LE CONCERT D ASTREE fête bientôt son premier quart de siècle ! It was a week rich in meetings and exchanges with opera houses from around the world. Together with my New York colleague Ron, we were able to share our passion for lyrical art and demonstrate how IT4Culture strives to help each organization we support become better organized to face daily challenges.
