IFB Refractories produces a wide range of insulating fire bricks made from pure clays from our quarries or purchased from French operators. They are used in installations operating at high or very high temperatures (1050° to 1550°) and offer a high insulating capacity. We produce standard bricks and tiles of variable dimensions, but also specific monobloc parts, machined and glued, moulded parts, tailor-made parts and unshaped products. Thanks to our know how and long experience IFB has built up during decades fame and confidence with big and with smaller companies worldwide. IFB exports more than 85% of its production to Europe and overseas. Our workforce of more than 40 people is dedicated daily to offer our customers premium quality products, which help them to reduce their carbon footprint We deliver our products to various industries such as glass, iron and steel, aluminium, cement and lime, waste incineration, chemical, ceramics, …

The PS - IFB Refractories' historical insulating fire bricks range ! The PS6 and PS8 are IFB Refractories' distinctive and proprietary low-temperature firebricks (up to 1050°C). The PS is used as the final layer of exterior insulation, often just before the metal casing of the kiln. The PS is the historical product of IFB Refractories. It's called PS in reference to the former name of the company 'Produits Silicieux'. The PS is manufactured from clay sourced from IFB Refractories' quarry, which is still in operation a couple km away from the factory, in the center of France.
