[Success story 🚉] Egis in Brazil to develop basic and executive engineering projects for São Paulo-Campinas Intercity Train (TIC).   On June 24, Egis no Brasil was proud to announce its involvement in the development of the São Paulo-Campinas Intercity Train (TIC), a landmark project in the revitalization of intercity rail transport in Brazil. This project represents a modernization and new approach to rail transportation, marking the first significant modern standard medium-speed intercity train project to be developed in Brazil in recent decades.   💡 Key Figures of TIC São Paulo-Campinas:  - the TIC will connect the São Paulo metropolitan region, with an estimated population of 22 million inhabitants, and the city of Campinas, one of Brazil's main technological and industrial hubs, with a metropolitan region totaling approximately 3.3 million inhabitants. - It will cover more than 100 kilometers of permanent track. - It is expected to transport ~59,000 passengers per day when the system is at full capacity. - The express service will be covering 101 kilometers of track. [Breaking News 🚨] Egis-led consortium has been awarded the project management assistance for the infrastructure of the 🚊high-speed line between Kenitra and Marrakech in Morocco ! With SYSTRA and NOVEC sa , we have been entrusted the project by the OFFICE NATIONAL DES CHEMINS DE FER. With a view to hosting the ⚽Football World Cup in 2030, Morocco is speeding up the implementation of its high-speed rail network to Marrakech: 👉it especially includes the extension of the existing high-speed line between Tangiers and Kenitra to Marrakech, thus providing a high-speed rail link between the capital Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech and Tangiers. 📌The project involves assisting ONCF in the construction of 430km of new high-speed line, 130km of quadrupling of the conventional line around Casablanca (Casablanca Hub) and new stations. 📌The project management assistance contract covers project management, master planning of operations, maintaining the consistency and technical optimisation of the project, as well as the overall integration of the project. 👏Egis is proud to support the Kingdom's policy to accelerate the decarbonisation of the transport sector, by offering users a very high-performance, low-carbon means of transport that is open to all.
