That’s the message I shared today with our Chairman Gilles Schnepp and the Executive Committee at our Capital Market Event in Amsterdam, which took stock of our journey over the past two years and presented our path forward. Since 2022, we have radically transformed the company to make it future-ready. With consumer / patient-centricity and science at the heart of our model, we successfully reset the business, improving our portfolio, while investing in innovation, brands, and capabilities. We further linked sustainability to performance, and instilled greater discipline in our operational execution. But the job is far from fully done, nor will it ever be. In this new chapter of Renew Danone – to be written over the next four years – we will double down on the fundamentals while projecting ourselves into the future by pivoting the way we look at our categories; broadening our business models and reach; and expanding our geographical footprint. We will further leverage our scientific expertise to amplify our market-leading brands and seek accretive M&A opportunities. The food industry is at a tipping point, and the role that food plays in health will become increasingly critical. This gives us a head start in what will be a very different world, which, as a company born in science with a mission of “health through food,” will be to our advantage. I am proud to be building the Danone of tomorrow with our passionate and dedicated Danoners and partners!     De retour d'Amsterdam où nous avons présenté le deuxième chapitre de notre plan stratégique Renew Danone, lors de notre Capital Market Event – deux journées dédiées aux analystes et investisseurs qui suivent notre entreprise. La stratégie que nous avons fixée pour la France – qui joue un rôle essentiel dans le déploiement du plan global de l’entreprise – est pleinement alignée avec les priorités établies par Antoine de Saint-Affrique et les membres du comité exécutif. Notre cap est clair : transformer progressivement notre façon d’aborder nos catégories et élargir l’horizon de certains de nos modèles économiques. Sur ce dernier point, j’ai notamment eu l'occasion de partager lors d'une marketplace notre ambition en matière de consommation hors domicile qui est un des leviers de croissance sur lequel nous devons accélérer. Protéines, santé intestinale, nutrition médicale… nous devons également capitaliser sur notre savoir-faire unique en matière de Recherche et d’Innovation pour projeter Danone dans le futur de la santé et de l’alimentation. Nous avons un bel avenir devant nous, notamment en France, le cœur historique de notre belle entreprise. Je suis confiant dans la direction que nous prenons et je sais que nous pouvons compter sur l’énergie et la détermination de chacun de nos Danoners.     Our Danone 2024 Capital Market Event has wrapped in Amsterdam! It was an incredible opportunity to review the progress of our business and discuss our long-term growth ambition with investors. Along with Antoine de Saint-Affrique and my fellow Executive Committee members, we introduced the next chapter of our Renew Danone strategy, and the leading role Danone will play in the future of health and nutrition.   Pablo Perversi and I presented what is one of the most compelling opportunities in food and beverage today and introduced our ambition to lead and shape the growth in protein. Danone is at the forefront of the protein market – thanks to our superior science, scaled geographic presence and distinctive portfolio (YoPro, HiPro, Too Good, Oikos and more). We have the platforms that provide access points in all consumer segments – ranging from Skyr to Greek and performance – and are uniquely positioned to meet increasing consumer appetite for protein.    We were also able to spotlight the ongoing performance of our North America business. Big thank you to Dan Magliocco who shared our fast growth business serving the US coffee occasion, including the International Delight and STōK brands.    It is always a privilege to talk about our business with external stakeholders on behalf of our incredible team.
