    📣 𝐢𝐏𝐒𝐂𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 𝐓𝐎𝐏® 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 📣 The recent study into a thermostable version of FGF-2 (FGF-2 TOP®) examined the quality of iPSC cultures under different media conditions by morphological appearance under the microscope.     📖 New Study: 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 (𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 𝐓𝐎𝐏®) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐏𝐒𝐂 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬   iPSC culture requires FGF-2 to maintain pluripotency, but it comes at a cost.   The FGF-2 protein is inherently unstable - <10 hours half-life! - leading to difficulties sustaining signalling cues for pluripotency.   The result: daily media changes, which are a constant barrier for researchers and therapy developers.   🧫 So, can we enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of iPSC culture techniques?   We think so.   🌡️ Our thermostable version of FGF-2 comes with an enhanced half-life (> 7 days at 37ºC), developed by computer-assisted engineering, licensed from Enantis. The result is a new variant with 9-point amino acid substitutions that preserves the full bioactivity and signalling required for FGF-2-mediated pathways.   You can delve into the details in this new study created in partnership with TreeFrog Therapeutics, which includes: - evaluation of the performance of this thermostable version of FGF-2 - its effectiveness at maintaining high-quality iPSC cultures - a move towards optimized cell feeding schedules   Find out more - https://lnkd.in/eM6Hm7kR

    🚀 Exciting News for Enantis FoodTech! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that Enantis has received a letter from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (Santé) on the status of our FGF2-STAB® protein in the cultured meat industry. Key Highlights: Processing Aid: Our FGF2-STAB® protein is classified as a processing aid under Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008. This confirms that while there may be technically unavoidable residues, they pose no health risk. This milestone underscores the crucial role our protein plays in improving the efficiency and quality of cultured meat production. Non-GMO: Our FGF2-STAB® protein is not considered a GMO. The only applicable status would be “produced with” GMO which is not relevant for processing aids. FGF2-STAB® can be used in cultured meat products across the European market without the regulatory challenges associated with GMOs, as per Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003. This achievement highlights our commitment to innovative protein engineering that meets regulatory standards and supports the rapidly growing cultured meat industry.
