📣 𝐢𝐏𝐒𝐂𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 𝐓𝐎𝐏® 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 📣 The recent study into a thermostable version of FGF-2 (FGF-2 TOP®) examined the quality of iPSC cultures under different media conditions by morphological appearance under the microscope. 📖 New Study: 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 (𝐅𝐆𝐅-2 𝐓𝐎𝐏®) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐏𝐒𝐂 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬   iPSC culture requires FGF-2 to maintain pluripotency, but it comes at a cost.   The FGF-2 protein is inherently unstable - <10 hours half-life! - leading to difficulties sustaining signalling cues for pluripotency.   The result: daily media changes, which are a constant barrier for researchers and therapy developers.   🧫 So, can we enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of iPSC culture techniques?   We think so.   🌡️ Our thermostable version of FGF-2 comes with an enhanced half-life (> 7 days at 37ºC), developed by computer-assisted engineering, licensed from Enantis.
