Are you dreaming of a White Christmas in Tennessee?

Unfortunately, the odds are not in your favor. The definition of a "White Christmas" means that there is at least one inch of snow on the ground on Christmas Day.

Historically speaking, we have less than a 10% chance of that occurring. We're just over two weeks away from Christmas, so the 8-14 day outlook is just outside of the 25th. The pattern, however, doesn't suggest a big cool down anytime soon.

This doesn't mean we *won't* see a few cold days, but the chances of colder air are less than likely.

Things can change between now and then, so stay tuned.
