Tracking Middle Tennessee's next possible Code Red weather alert days: Thursday, Friday

FOX 17 News Meteorologists are tracking your next Code Red Weather Alert Day:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — As Middle Tennessee inches closer to the weekend, FOX 17 News Code Red meteorologists are tracking a few showers and possible storms late Thursday and into Friday.

They are currently in the “monitoring” phase for a Code Red Weather Alert.

On Thursday, temperatures will warm to the upper 80s with a stray shower and pop up storm later in the day.

Friday looks a bit more active with more cloud cover in the morning and scattered rain showers into the afternoon. Middle Tennessee could see a few more storms Friday bringing some gusty wind at times and heavy rain.

Overall, the severe threat is low.
