*FOX 17 News is in a Code Red Weather Alert for possible strong storms Tuesday afternoon.*

There is a possibility of a stray strong storm developing Tuesday afternoon to early evening. Damaging wind is the primary threat, but heavy rain and lightning are also possible.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Fentress, Overton and Pickett counties in Tennessee until 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Scott County in Kentucky until 9:30 p.m.

All southern Kentucky counties and multiple counties in middle Tennessee are under a marginal risk, or a 1 out of 5, for severe weather.
