Metro Nashville's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) division of the Metro Nashville Planning Department has created an interactive map that shows the path and destruction of last week's tornadoes in Middle Tennessee.

The imagery is made possible by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Remote Sensing Division. The information will be used to help with ongoing research efforts for testing and developing standards for airborne digital imagery.

Nashville's GIS division has provided an overlay to show Nashville Parcels. This view tracks the tornado traveling through Davidson, Wilson and Putnam counties.

To access the map you can go to the GIS Website.

Meanwhile, Waldo Air has also created a tool to view the tornado, this one is an interactive 3D Model.
