Tennesseans can begin voting in this year’s primary election soon, with early voting set to begin mid-July.

Early voting will take place from July 12-27. Voters will be able to vote in this year’s primary elections for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, Tennessee Senate, and Tennessee House of Representatives.

To vote early, you will need to vote in person at either a county election commission office or a polling location opened by the election commission office.

In Nashville, early voting will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 12. View polling locations for early voting in Nashville here.

According to the Secretary of States website, all voters will need to present a federal or Tennessee state ID containing the voter’s name and photograph when voting at the polls, whether voting early or on Election Day.
