Resolved TV app not updating watched

Why does the TV app not update my watched shows to ‘watched’….?
These are actually being watched on my iPad Pro, but then don’t show as seen….🤨

Update: episodes seem to be shown as watched now…..🤔
The first episode however still does not.

The same episodes shown watched on iPhone / iPad Pro M2.
None shown watched on iPad Pro (1st gen).

New problem.
Towards the end of an episode, you get the small pip at top of screen.
Every time I reselect it, it pauses.
When episode is finished, TV app locks up, which needs completely closing and re-opening to unfreeze.

Maybe an issue with latest iPadOS update (17.5.1)

My previous gripe seems to be sorted by shutting down and restarting iPad.
Although this should not be the solution (it's not windows).
