Siri won't enable selected voice

I was using the female Siri British 1 voice on my MacBook Pro. So today I did a complete system reinstall + Time Machine reinstall; I select British 1 and all I get is some guy. The American voices sound very robotic as well. Whadda I do? Latest Sonoma build.

where are Siri audio files stored? If I delete and reboot; won't they regenerate?
