Does App Store automatic app updates work for anyone?

Title says it all....I have had multiple iPhones, iPads, years of iOS and iPadOS updates, and it NEVER updates apps automatica;y from the App Store. I just go in and check it every day or two, and there are always numerous updates from more than a day old to update. I have toggled the App Updates/App Downloads/In-App Content switches (left on), and my devices are on power, and locked every night.

What say you?

Me too. It's never worked.

It works for me, but it might take a week after they are released before they update.

I haven't manually updated in my apps in several months. I just checked and I only have two that aren't updated, so it's been functioning. I usually see the updating motion on the icons early in the morning, around 0400 or so; about the time I wake up.

Interesting - maybe I have been too impatient. I thought they would update a lot faster than that.
