Amazon today is offering the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad mini 5 for $349.00 in all colors, down from $399.00. At $50 off, this is currently the best deal online for a new iPad mini 5, and Amazon is currently the only major Apple reseller discounting the 7.9-inch tablet this week.

Before anyone ask why is more expensive than the 10.2 iPad, here’s why:

Processor:
10.2 iPad — A10
7.9 Mini - A12 with Neural Engine

Capacity:
10.2 iPad — starts at 32GB
7.9 Mini — starts at 64GB

Display:
10.2 iPad — does NOT include laminated display, Antireflective coating, Wide color display (P3), or True Tone
7.9 Mini — does includes laminated display, Antireflective coating, Wide color display (P3), and True Tone

Front Camera:
10.2 iPad — 1.2MP
7.9 Mini — 7MP

And, I think its some more stuff. The mini is more in line with the 10.5 iPad Air.
