Launch day 14 Pro, 630 charge cycles and down to 79% battery (requires repair notification appeared) Actual percentage should be 75% using Battery Stats shorcut reading. Optimized charging is always on.
Still within Apple Care warranty. Went to Apple Store for battery replacement and even the specialist is surprised. No gaming on iPhone, just use official Magsafe for charging. Previous 12 mini had 92% battery with exactly same usage. 3 years Apple Watch 7 with daily charging still at 80% battery. 14 Pro has the scummiest battery Apple has ever used. They changed 15's battery to 80% in 1000 charge cycles comparing with 500 for the 14.

In my experience batteries are a bit of a toss up. I’ve had batteries that lasted 3 years and I could barely tell the difference. I’ve also had batteries (like on my M1 12.9” iPad Pro) lose health pretty quickly, and also would randomly shut down at 10% remaining, only to turn on at 16% then rapidly drain to 9%. Apple refused to do anything because the battery health was fine. Every 6 months or so I ended up having to start fresh with a clean install of iPadOS which would temporarily help. Lucky for me (and I guess Apple too since they got more of my money) I decided I wanted to downsize to the 11” M4 iPad Pro, which battery wise has been fine.

I am close doubt I reach it. Hope I do so I can replace it and be able to sell it vs trading in for dirt cheap

Launch day 14 Pro is at 85% - I have until Sept 16 for AppleCare

Mine’s been at 85% since January. My AC+ expires in September. Doesn’t look like it’ll be down to 79% before it expires, unfortunately.
