Phebe Novakovic

CEO of General Dynamics for a decade, Phebe Novakovic recently led the aerospace and defense company in securing a slew of new defense contracts. In the last year, it won more than $1 billion in orders from both the U.S. Army and Navy. Revenue is up across all segments of the business, and General Dynamics recently reported a record-high backlog of $91.4 billion—meaning it is continuing to book new contracts and has a steady flow of work for the future. Novakovic also serves on the board of directors for JPMorgan Chase, where she helps oversee internal audits and the accuracy of corporate financial statements.
