The only female CEO in France’s CAC 40 stock index brings over 23 years of experience to the French gas giant. Previously, MacGregor worked for TechnipFMC and world’s leading oilfield services company Schlumberger, where she held various positions. Since joining Engie in 2021 MacGregor has been making moves to counteract Russian sanctions that have put the energy industry at risk. All the while, she's worked to keep revenue resilient. Revenue at Engie, which is responsible for maintaining the largest gas distribution network in Europe, surged by 30.6% as the company brought in a whopping $109.17 billion last year. Engie, already an energy transition leader, aims to become a superstar in electric mobility. Earlier this year, it launched a new brand, Engie Vianeo, which intends to meet the growing needs of electric vehicle users by developing 12,000 electric charge points for cars and heavy goods vehicles in France by 2025.
