About Forrest Freedman

Attorney Forrest Freedman has filed to run for Palm Beach County State Attorney, 15th Judicial District.  Freedman has practiced law in Florida since 1991.  Before moving to Palm Beach, Freedman served as Assistant District Attorney for 4 years in Boston. There, he successfully prosecuted many jury and bench trials and indicted violent felons as part of the Major Offender Unit.  Freedman fought to keep criminals behind bars and demanded appropriate bail and jail time for those convicted of car theft, DUI and violent crimes. Freedman is running to insure law and order in Palm Beach County.

Besides running a successful law firm as founding partner in Ehrlich & Freedman PA, Freedman served as Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel for Nations Mortgage, US Records Search and GoodLife SuperThrift Stores. He taught business law as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University. Freedman presided as Worshipful Master for Coral Springs Masonic Lodge and has fundraised for the American Cancer Society and Dentistry for the Handicapped in West Palm Beach. Mr. Freedman is President of the Polo Republican Club.

Freedman’s law firm focused heavily on Criminal, IRS Defense and Litigation.  Freedman practices law in Florida, New York, Massachusetts and before the Federal Bar. He is a certified mediator. Freedman’s leadership skills, courtroom experience and extensive attorney network will help him find the best Prosecutors to keep Palm Beach County safe.

Mr. Freedman is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and received his BA from Brandeis University.  He and his wife, Jamie, of 23 years and their two children reside in Boca Raton. When he’s not in the courtroom, you’ll find Freedman coaching Travel Baseball in Jupiter, FL and serving on the Board of Project Beisbol, bringing baseball equipment to Central and South America.
